Our department holds the distinction of being one of the first institutions to offer undergraduate education in game design among state universities. The Digital Game Design department, which is an interdisciplinary department, aims to bring together art, aesthetics, talent, and creative thinking to meet the needs of the game industry in accordance with the requirements created by digital technologies and the innovations required by the era.
Students who choose the department will understand the logic of digital game mechanics in a theoretical context and will have detailed knowledge about the process steps to be followed from the design to the development of digital games. In a practical context, they will be able to apply the knowledge they have learned theoretically, both individually and in working groups, in Mac and Windows-based laboratories, design, and editing rooms.
The course contents of our department have been created by analyzing the curricula of institutions that have achieved success in America and Europe.
